Lacrosse WhiteBoard is an application that enables you to visualize player and ball positioning similar to a portable dry-erase lacrosse coach's whiteboard. It is a versatile app compatible with iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch.

You can easily move players and the ball around using touch gestures to demonstrate field positioning techniques. Pinch, zoom, scroll, and rotate functions allow you to focus on specific areas of the field or display the entire field. Teams can be distinguished by a range of colors, accommodating any number of players per team on the field simultaneously. Each player can be assigned a default position number or a custom letter/number combination (up to three characters on iPad, two on other iOS devices) representing initials or numbers. Additionally, the option exists to display labels like player names below each circle. Player positions, labels, and designations can be saved for future reference, while team data can be saved separately for multiple whiteboard usage.

Originally launched for the iPhone in the summer of 2009, Lacrosse WhiteBoard is based on Soccer WhiteBoard and has been revamped to leverage the latest features in iOS. It incorporates valuable user feedback and recommendations received over time. If you need to draw lines on the whiteboard, activate one of the three colored drawing pens provided. The default pen colors are red, green, and blue but can be customized as per your preference. To remove drawn lines, simply utilize the erase control in the icon palette or shake your iPhone or iPod touch to clear lines.

To indicate player movement paths, turn on the "trailing lines" feature. This feature draws narrow lines along player paths, depicting their previous positions before arriving at their current spots.

Setting up Lacrosse WhiteBoard is straightforward; for iPhone or iPod touch users, double-tap anywhere on the field; whereas iPad users can use on-screen controls situated beside the field. In this control area, adjust player count, team colors, trailing lines function settings, save current whiteboard configurations, and load saved layouts.

Lacrosse WhiteBoard embraces contemporary iOS features such as iCloud integration. This enables optional storage of team and whiteboard data on iCloud for seamless access from all iOS devices. Users can effortlessly edit data on both iPad and iPhone/iPod touch devices without losing accuracy. The app also supports recent iOS functionalities like retina displays, AirPrint printing, and screen mirroring through AirPlay.
